Einstein once said that God does not play dice, that the world is not created in random fashion and that everything is either predetermined or caused by some other event. We may have a quantum theory to everything, including the origin of the planet, but still none of these seem to be completely random.

But how about using the randomness of the dice in order to determine the answer to your questions? There is a branch of divination that actually concentrates on the study of dice and their effects on divination as a whole. Cleromancy, or simple dice divination requires little psychic powers or intuition because the results of one roll of dice is pretty easy to read. Everybody can be good at cleromancy so long as you know the rules of reading dice results.

Cleromancy normally requires three dice, the sum of which shall be interpreted. However, there are some cleromancy systems that require only two dice. You could put the dice into your cupped hands, roll the dice over, and let them go and roll on a flat surface. The sum of the dice's values correspond to a particular advice.

• Three - there will be a pleasant surprise that is going to come your way.
• Four - disappointments and unpleasant situations should be expected.
• Five - Rejoice because your plans will finally bear fruit
• Six - There will be losses and obstacles especially in your business ventures
• Seven - Beware of rumors as these may lead to further difficulties in realizing your life goals.
• Eight - Someone will have heavy influence in your life through criticism. Do not be negative about it
• Nine - Expect love to come back and ignite a flame in your heart
• Ten - Ten means new beginnings. This could mean a birth of a new child to the family, new work, or even a new love
• Eleven - Eleven is the end. This may be the sign of parting with someone that you love deeply
• Twelve - Expect an important message
• Thirteen - This is an unlucky number. Expect sorrow and gloom.
• Fourteen - This indicates that you will get a new friend or an existing friend will volunteer to help you with your current woes.
• Fifteen - This reminds you that you should not trust anything that promises you pain-free solutions to your problems
• Sixteen - A journey is needed for you to know answers to your questions
• Seventeen - A change of plan perhaps?
• Eighteen - This is the best number to come out. Success for your endeavors

Sure, God may not play dice, but you certainly can.
