One of the most difficult divination techniques to use as far as I am concerned is reading the crystal ball. Unlike, say, reading tea leaves and determining where pendulums go to, reading crystal balls require even more effort, concentration, and imagination to come out with images. Even crystal ball masters who have been using the tool for many years require hours of gazing at this tool in order to see the right images.

Other than the creativity and the imagination, crystal ball gazing also requires the appropriate atmosphere while you are at it. It is for this reason that most crystal ball gazing sessions is most easily done in quiet, dimly lit rooms. It is also typical for some rooms to have candles burning. Some crystal ball artists believe that the reflection of the flames help summon the images, though some others think that this is just a distraction to the process. As a crystal ball artist, you have to remember that an atmosphere is important. You can't just let anyone go unexpectedly into the room and ruin that atmosphere.

Assuming that you have already bought a crystal ball and its stand, it is then time for you to start with your scrying session. Sit down, relax, lay down your hands on the ball, and start to concentrate. Allow the crystal ball to strengthen your psychic energies. Visualize what you are trying to do and determine what you are there for. You can either say your question out loud or internalize it.

Afterwards, remove your hands from the crystal ball and stare at it intently. Stare deeply but allow your eyes to relax and become slightly unfocused. By this time, you should see some mist or some smoke forming inside your crystal ball. Just relax and allow images to come behind the veil of smoke. Don't rationalize what the images are for. Just let them flow until such time when the smoke covers the images once again.

When the smoke is cleared, thank the crystal ball and then it becomes to think of the images that were shown to you. They hold the answers to your queries.
