The world holds many secrets, secrets that are unknown even to the most intelligent of all humans. Some of these secrets and mysteries have always been known by people, but not everything are known about them, not to mention that their mystical behavior only adds more to the mystery attributed to them.

In this sense, ghosts are ones of the most mysterious. Nobody knows what they really are, except that a lot of people believe that they are just manifestations of people who have already passed away. They are spirits who chose to stay in this world instead of moving on to the afterlife. Perhaps this decision is fueled by a strong emotional connection with a certain place or thing. Some think that it has something to do with the mission that the owners of these spirits once had when they were still alive.

Personally, I find it difficult to believe in ghosts for the simple reason that I haven't had these kinds of spiritual encounter. When my grandmother died, I was the only one who slept in the room where she died, and yet I had no experience feeling her presence. I'm not saying that ghosts are completely false. It's just that I have a difficult time believing in something that I haven't seen or felt yet.

There are good and bad ghosts, according to paranormal experts. More often than not, good spirits are the spirits of those people who still have a mission left on this planet, as mentioned above. The bad ghosts, on the other hand, are more mischievous and tend to spread nothing but confusion and anger.

Much is not known about ghosts. What are they here for, really? Why can't everyone see them? What is their true nature? I believe this is one of those things that will be mysterious forever. All we will ever know about them are the endless apparitions seen by people from all over. I wonder if I will ever see one myself.
